Help! Is there a Pause/Stop button C300 W204?
I am a new owner of a 2009 C300 4Matic Sport. It has the iPod integration in the glove box. I really wanted to use my phone for bluetooth NAV and music but from my search online there was no easy solution. I found some users have used the ViseeO Tune2air WMA1000. I plugged the ViseeO into my iPod connector, sync my iPhone and I get bluetooth music!
However I have found a problem. I cannot find a button to PAUSE/STOP the music! When I use my iPhone for navigation, I get turn by turn NAV via bluetooth but my music is CONSTANTLY PLAYING. If I hit the mute button, the music stops but so does the navigation alerts which kind of defeats the purpose of NAV. If I press pause on my phone, the music stops for 1 second, then plays again, as if the car is over-riding the phone.
I know I can control the phone using the phone hang-up button and get next song and select artist. But how do I stop to music and get some peace and quiet? It feels unbelievable that Mercedes does not have a pause/play button like every other radio in the world!
