Question about instrument cluster lighting
On my 2009 C350 my left combination gauge and right tach do not light up with the headlights off. The main center malfunction display lights up with the headlights off. All three light up when the lights are on and everything works. Is this how the dash lights are supposed to work? I installed LED taillights and don't know if I now have a malfunction or not. Can't remember how they were before taillight install. Seems like all three lit up. Don't know. Owner's manual doesn't describe if the the side cluster light up or not with the lights off.
