2009 C300 4matic Sport transmission lag/jerks
Hi all.
Recently I've noticed when starting off cold, my car lags/jerks at low gears, around 1st to 2nd (could be 2nd to 3rd too). When I'm accelerating from low speeds I feel the push then a second or two of empty lag and then the kick. I'm at 42.5k and I'm supposed to be due for "A2 service" in 23 days as my dash tells me. I'm out of warranty, is this going to be an arm and a leg? Any idea on costs? Or just a change the fluid issue? I live in the NJ/NYC area. Thanks.

I recently had a similar issue with mine. Not quite as bad as yours sounds but noticeable. I have 50,000 miles and never changed the trans. fluid. I also live in the N.J./N.Y.C. area and had a hard time finding a dealer or independent shop who would drain the torque convertor .Finally a dealer in Englewood N.J. did the job correctly and the car has never shifted more smoothly. Cost about $600 just for the trans service.
