So I just got the "check low right beam" message on my 09 c300 sport at the end of a road trip this weekend. The high beams work fine but I was wondering if this is a common thing with a simple fix like replacing the bulb or something more complex like a wiring issue. I have the stock halogen bulbs.

i would simply replace the bulb..they are fairly cheap and very easy to install!

If you have halogens they're extremely easy to replace and take an H7 bulb

It's not uncommon for cars to detect failing bulbs before they actually go out. I guess whatever electrical characteristics they measure start to change before failure.
