Super Z-6 chains on 245mm tires?

Hi All,

I have a 2014 C250 with staggered wheel setup (F:225/45R17 R:245/40R17) The car manual explicitly says that snow chains are not allowed on the 245mm tires. I bet the reason is due to a very low clearance for the internal sidewall.

The Super Z-6 chains require only 6mm clearance, so I thought they might still work. Does anyone have actually tried those with the staggered wheels?

Thanks in advance!
