What are Model # Differences for C350?
I recently bought a CPO 2012 C350. It had immediate problems, which I'll get into in another thread, but is good-to-go now. My question is about what the car actually IS and is called. I have seen the car referred to as:
C350
C350 Sport
C350W
and some form of W204 or something like that
What is the difference in these notations?
Thanks!

I think it's all the same there was only one model of C350 in 2012.

MBWorld Fanatic!
MB naming is a little all over the place. It's basically a C-Class, the various numbers are mostly engine related 250, 300, 350, etc.
W204 refers to the generation of the C-Class which spans multiple years of production. Just like E90 is for BMW or MKV is for VW or W205 for the new C-Class generation.

2012 C350 Sport
Got it. It was great seeing the original brochure - thanks for that. It seems the C350 is only a Sport model, so C350 Sport is the long version, and C350 is simply shorthand. Thanks for the explanation of the W, too.
I like the sound of C350 Sport, so I'll keep using that in talking about my new car - which I'm loving, by the way.
Thank you.
