2012-2014 C250 TMC AutoFlash
Hi guys, been searching for solutions for the general clunkiness of this transmission, I've already gotten a GFB DV+ to help smooth the behavior of the car but waiting on install as I'm also looking into the TMC AutoFlash as a possible solution.
I'm hesitant bc I know there's been virtually nothing available tuning-wise for the 2012-2014 C250s. I've been asking a TMC dealer if it will work specifically on a USA market C250 as all the product pages are for the CGI and CDI, they claim the one on the C250 CGI page will work on all C250s as long as they have the M271 engine.
Thoughts on this? I haven't seen any tuning, whether bench flashing or OBDII tuning available for these SIM271 ECUs, but at the same time I understand the AutoFlash isn't like most flashes as it's more geared towards altering transmission behavior. Just want to be sure I don't brick my car.

It sounds like one of the best upgrades you can do for the car. Apparently it unlocks a bunch of torque to the wheels and produces better shifting.

That thread is where I got the idea, my question is if the Canadian C250 has the same SIM271 ECU? The results seem great but I'm suspicious when there hasn't been anything else available besides piggybacks.

The TMC autoflash will work, you're over thinking the whole thing. It's a general modification for different brands but in general it adjusts the percentages of the stock value for that particular manufacture no matter the country your car is bought in.

I have on my Benz I love it best tune ever I got 3”Pipes all the way back split Ys into Quad tips sounds like gunshots going off when I downshift super power super responsive I went to stage two catless down pipe no check engine lights get in touch with them they’re on Instagram and they have a website
