Double x-Pipe

Any one running double x-pipe? Any pros or cons?

Debating on if I want to go the X-pipe route and performance muffler or just do the Eisenmann race...

I would get the GTHaus or Eisenmann if it wasn't so pricey, both make top notch exhaust systems. The way I see it, X-pipe + aftermarket mufflers/muffler delete and quad tips will give you a similar look, and somewhat similar sound quality for $400-$500 so it was a no brainer for me cause I'm personally not willing to dish out over $2k just for an exhaust. But at the same time having a high quality, name brand exhaust will certainly earn you some points from those who know what they are looking at. Like if I was at a show and had to vote for 2 w204s with the same exact mods, with the only difference being one having the xpipe, muffler, ebay tips, and the other with a GTHaus or Eisenmann exhaust, I'd give my vote to the w204 with the GTHaus or Eisenmann lol. Lastly, I don't really know what you mean by "Double X-pipe"

Yea not sure if I want to spend the money on the full exhaust either. By double X-Pipe I mean by two x-pipes instead of just one x-pipe going to straight pipes since you need additional piping with the magnaflow x-pipe anyway, just wondering if it would be better to just buy two x-pipes.

I don't think a double X pipe is needed. Straight pipes after the X-pipe to mufflers/tips is just fine.

Installing two X pipes would be redundant. The only purpose of a crossover (H or X) is to balance the exhaust pressure pulses between the two banks of engine cylinders for smoother, more efficient exhaust flow.

As far as 'name brand' exhaust Vs. 'home made', often you'll get a bit better performance from a properly engineered system as opposed to something a muffler shop whips up in an hour. Some of that depends on the vehicle- the newer and better engineered, the fewer additional HP you'll see.
