R1 Concpet Dimpled and Slotted Rotors installed and Caliper painted.
1.) Be very carefully when loosening and tightening the one T-27 screw that holds the rotor in, these are very easy to stip. I stripped one but was luckily able to carve it out to fit a T-30 bit.
2.) To get the rotor off hit right in between the lug nut holes, I found using a metal hammer is much easier as I used a rubber mallet at first and after an hour of beating the rotors it would not come off. I switched to a metal hammer and after hitting it twice it popped off.
3.) In order to get the rear rotors off the parking break must be released.
4.) Use a coat hanger to hold the caliper when painting so you dont stretch the break line.
5.) DO NOT USE THE MERCEDES JACK TO PERFORM THIS TASK AND ENSURE YOU HAVE WHEEL STOPS. When doing the final rear rotor the Mercedes jack bent and my C350 rolled forward and right off the jack. The E-break does not stop the front wheels so be sure to use wheel stops and a better jack. Thankfully nothing was damaged other than a piece in my garage floor and my soul, definitely one of the scariest moments of my life.
But all and all I learned a lot, here are some pictures.
Yes, be sure to use a good floor jack and block the wheels.
