Ipod Integration and Aux
Hey all,
I have a 2010 c350 with the ipod integration kit (the cable to plug in the ipod and aux cable) in the glove box. Recently it cut out and stopped working after I was fooling around in the engineering mode (I know, lesson learned). Under the audio menu it still shows AUX but no sound is played over the speakers after selecting it. The option to select iPod is also gone after fooling around in the menu. Question is, is there any coding that needs to be done at the dealer to reactivate the ipod kit?

Everything that can be deactivated can be reactivated again through the Engineering Menu. The option in the head unit is called Media Interface, I am not sure what it is under Engineering Menu.

I just bought my car a few weeks ago, and I still haven't gotten the AUX (30-pin iPod/3.5mm female) to play anything or recognize anything attached to it yet. Went to a local dealer, and they tried a few new connectors, to no avail. They were kind of stumped, but I didn't leave it with them long.
So I think I'm in the same boat, except I didn't touch anything in Engineering Mode... Maybe someone before me did? Anyway, would also like help with this.

I didnt cut the pin connector since apparently it was an expensive option. So I just wired both through the hole. Didn't think about that, did ya? Lol.
