2010 c300 sport v6 flex
Evaporative Emission System P2422
Hi guys!
I'm have some trouble with my 2010 c300 sport V6 flex. When I stop to fill up the car won't turn over. After waiting about an hour it starts right up. the code is p2422 Evaporative Emission System Vent Valve stuck closed. The dealer diagnostic has it as "fault" 0954: The shutoff valve of the activated charcoal canister sticks in the close position. the part #0014701393 I found it on the service form. My questions are... has anyone had this problem? where is it located ? Am I going in the right direction? is it an easy fix? any diagrams of where I'll be working? any HELP WOULD BE GREAT

Out Of Control!!
Yes easy DIY--the canister and shut off valve are located under the right rear wheel well---simply remover the fender liner and all will be clear

Hey Epic82, I know his thread is old but I just got the p2422 code on my c300 as well and I was wondering if you were able to fix your problem. Any help would be much appreciated!
