Parking Brake Adjustment for 2008 C300 (W204)

Since the car provides no warning the parking brake is on while in reverse I wonder if adjusting this would help? I've backed out of my driveway a few times with the brake on. At least that way I could tell right away if they had more grip.

Parking brake operation?
Just replaced rotors and pads due to scoring and noise.
Got the rotor off, lots of dust. With rotor off I engaged the parking brake....only the top pad seemed to mive, that normal?
Didn't get a chance to take it out yet at fullfspeed but i can still hear some dragging noise...ughhh
