I'm thinking to repaint the car since is getting old and having all the scratches and dents and i was wondering which dark has the best shine and deep black.

I noticed our black is not shinniest and darkess.

040 is the standard black
In my opinion, the black is a deep black and will stay that way with proper care (none of that turtle wax crap products). I personally use Chemical Guys products and I have been very happy with the results.

I have 2 black cars. One car has the 040 color code. Another is obsidian black. The metallic black paints are more forgiving when you get rock chips,etc. The metallics are easier to touch up.
