I'm new to this forum.
I have a c class w204 facelift model 2012 with standard mirrors.


I would like to know if it's possible to upgrades these mirrors with the power folding ones.


what would it require from a hardware a software perspective?


I also would like to mention that the mirror control does not have the button for remote folding (middle button).

Yes, it is possible. You will need different door control modules, folding mirror frames, mirror switch block, and programming. Expect about $600 parts and programming. There are threads about this retrofit. Please perform a search first to save time.

I thought about the conversion before, but quickly gave up. Due to the mirror design, when I manually fold then in, the total car width reduces just a little, to me it is not worth the conversion effort. I'd rather manually fold them in if needed.
