(W204) not accelerating (automatic)

Last night for the first time, when I turned the automatic C200 on, when I pressed the accelerator it would

1. Mostly do nothing. The engine stayed idling, irrespective of which gear it was in (D, N, R).

2. Some of the time, the engine would just die.

Eventually, after turning on and off the engine, it started and worked as normal. This was probably after about 15 minutes and about 10 starts.

There were no error messages that I saw.

Anyone have any ideas?

Check if the connector on your pedal is securely attached. Then try resetting your tcu (search the forum for directions)

You can also try taking it to a Indy shop and having them use a obd diagnostic and see if it pulls any codes.

Last resort, try disconnecting your battery to reset the car.

Has the idle become very rough in comparison to before as well?

Not that I've noticed.

Everything runs as normal.

What are your thoughts?
