Is it OK to touch/use bare hands while installing LEDs

I got some new LEDs and wondering if I can touch them and use bare hands when installing them. I know that it's a no no on most other bulbs. What about these pricey LEDs?

The issue with the headlight bulbs I believe is from the heat they generate. The oils can burn and then damage the bulb.

I would first check the instructions for the bulbs. Halogen and Xenon bulbs come with instructions that say do not touch. If it is a concern they would probably mention it in the reading materials. Outside of that you could just take the cautious route.
