Satin black wheels?
I have to get my stock rims repaired and in doing so I can choose to go with a new color. Part of the process involves sandblasting and powder coating them. I like the idea of satin black or gunmetal.
I'm looking for opinions on this look for a white W204. My concern is how the center star cap would look. I have seen black AMG rims with black caps so perhaps they can fitted to these rims.

I've seen a couple white Lexus IS250s with gunmetal rims. I think I may go for it. I like it over the black as it gives some more contrast with the tires. But the center caps are still somewhat of a concern.

Have you thought of gloss black? All my white vehicles have black wheels except my C300, go figure.
Anyway, gloss black has two different looks imho.
When clean, gloss black reflects a lot of light, when dirty/brake dust on the wheels, they have the look of gunmetal and still look good. Good in my book!
Bonus, gives wheel a better definition as wheel.

I decided to stick with the stock finish as two wheels didn't need repair. I'd could put that money to projectors.
The repaired rims came out beautiful! They look like they are right out of the factory.
