Vibrating panel around instrument cluster
The dealer had removed my instrument cluster to do some diagnostic work and they broke the trim piece that surrounds the instrument cluster. It came back vibrating and had a gap around the top where it meets up with the dashboard top.
I took it back in and they ordered a new trip piece which was installed. However, it was still vibrating. Most of the gap was closed up except for the outer most top corner.
I took it back again. They said they couldn't reproduce the vibration (that drives me nuts, lol) but they took it apart and reattached it.
It came back no different. The gap is still there and it still vibrates.
Has anyone here had experience with this piece? I'm wondering why they can't seem to fix that one corner.
I'd try myself but I don't have the tools to unhook the center AC vents.
