2011 c300 charcoal canister location
Hello guys,
I have a problem filling up. The nozzle gets stuck every one gallon or so. I did a lot of research, and there is a high possibility the hoses could be clogged. Although I do not see how that could happen in a five year old car. Makes sense if it happened in a much older car. Do any of you know where the canister is located? Thank you for your help

Please let us know if this solves your problem. Sometimes when I refill, the nozzle would insist on clicking off, but I doubt my system is clogged. I've read that it has something to do with the length of the filler nozzle.

It is definitely the canister. As soon as i replaced it, I haven't had any issues filling up. The canister also has a valve on top of it which could go bad and cause the same issue. So make sure you check that first, so you don't replace the whole canister for no reason. And if you do need to buy a canister, get it on ebay. That's where i got mine from and it worked out fine. The Mercedes dealer was charging $400 for it. Typical price from a Benz dealer. And also very easy to replace. Hope this information helps.
