Hey, I'm super clueless. So a shop said $400 for installion / parts
I feel like I'm over paying any thoughts

i'd say thats very reasonable I paid $144 for the x-pipe in Canada $400 for the exhaust tips and I got a quote for $250 for install so converting that to US $ it seems like a good deal lol

Geez, that is almost $250 for the parts alone, so $150-$160 to do all the work necessary to install all these actually to me seems like a steal actually.

it is a steal the guy I'm going to is charging 100$ for stainless steel piping and install of my xpipe. 80-140$ for the exhaust tips depending on what he has to do I'm going to prep everything so he just has to weld so it should be on the lower end. the alignment and the headaches he had before/other people gave him he quoted me the 80$-140$ quote on that just incase its a pain in the *** and take more time.

They asked me for $140 (parts + labor) for an X-pipe installation. I'm not sure it's a Magnaflow or could it be this Jones x-pipe?
