Navigation Update for 2008 C300
Hello Everyone,
I did a research and put hours online including this forum I couldn't get any good inexpensive ways to upgrade navigation on my 2008 C300. I ended up paying $40 on ebay and got the DVDs but the disk is unreadable. Can anyone help me upgrading my navigation to 2015 or newer please.

The correct 2015 North American update for the 2008 W204 is in 2 discs. I paid about $45 for mine.

Lots of bum copies out in eBay land, or the one you got was not compatible with your unit.
The correct 2015 North American update for the 2008 W204 is in 2 discs. I paid about $45 for mine.

I still see a few on eBay from other sellers. You're looking for the 2015 v14 NTG4 COMAND update that comes in 2 discs. If you read the descriptions it mentions the 08-11 C-Class with part number A2048271265. They're going for about 35 bucks.
Caveat : I have no idea if any of these currently on sale will work. The seller I bought mine from isn't selling discs anymore. Good luck.

One more thing to anyone reading this thread in the future. If you get a bum (corrupted) update disc that stalls in the middle of installation, your nav will be unusable until you get a working disc in there. It will go through an activation screen at every start, then error out and tell you an update is needed, or something to that effect.
Edit : I also updated my COMAND to the latest software version prior to the map update in 03/10, if that matters any
