C 300

Easy Entry/Exit Not working !

On my C300 - 2014 model Easy Entry/Exit Not working with an unidentified reasons.

1- The steering wheel is moving in all directions manually and by memory
2- The driver seat is moving in all directions manually and by memory
3- the Convenient setting on the cluster is stuck on Enabled and can't be disabled.

The only thing I tried till now is doing a DTC diagnosis and it gives the following lines

1- DTC Code 9EAF97 / Stored&Current / Easy entry/exit has a malfunction. The system function is restricted

2- Fault 01/ ESA "Driver" - Electric seat adjustment "Driver".

Any idea what does this mean

Did it ever work? I have a feeling the dealer would have a hard time diagnosing this one but at least you should have a warranty.

Recently in an accident? Some models deactivate the feature and set that code if an impact was detected. It then will need coded back active at the dealership.
