12V Cigarette lighter maximum output
Hi all,
I am currently trying to power my Lenovo 170W laptop charger via a 300W inverter I just bought.
When plugging the inverter in the cigarette lighter, the inverter does not power up. The fuse is OK right after if I plug a USB charger it's fine.
If I plug my inverter directly on a car battery, it is fine.
So my question is : Is there a way that the cigarette lighter output is limited ?
Is there an alternative solution ?
Thanks !

Sorry for the delay !
Well is there some kind of electronic limitation for the specified 180W ? I don't understand what is limiting, If my inverter would draw more than that, the fuse would blow. But that's not the case, the inverter simply doesn't power-up !
May sound like a stupid question but, where is the rear 12V outlet on a C63 ?
