C300 in Boston Snow?
Hey guys,
I'm looking for opinions and personal experiences with anyone driving a C300 (non-4MATIC - just 2WD) in New England.
I'll be moving soon and bringing my leased C-class from the south (Georgia) to Boston. Obviously I didn't need 4MATIC down in GA...but now I'm questioning whether I'll be in trouble with it come this winter. I'm thinking at a minimum I'll need to throw some snow tires on it. I'll likely rent a garage spot in downtown Boston but will commute about 20 miles outside the city each day (mostly all interstate driving).
Any suggestions? Think I'll be ok?

Lived here all my life, Just learn how to drive in the snow, and you can drive anything in the snow. I have driven, Camaros, Corvettes, Grand Nationals, etc all rear wheel drive cars. This is the only car that I have driven with snow tires all other had all seasons. I have to say over the past two winters here, one with 140 inches of snow, I am a believer in changing over into snow tires for the winter and high performance summers tire in the summer.

2008 C300 Sport
I live in the Boston area and drive a C300 4Matic. I like having the AWD but have driven plenty of 2WD in New England. The state and towns do an excellent job keeping the main roads cleared. Unless you are in a rural area or have to drive to work in bad storms all seasons are fine.
