errors displayed when turning key
After several attempts, removing and inserting the key, the car behaviour becomes normal.
During the rest of day, no problem, no error.
In the next morning, same "inferno".
Dealer can't find the problem.
Someone did pass this weird experience?
Thank you in advance.

I have been having this issue intermittently for last few months.
Sometimes after a bit drive, car doesn't switch off after turning the key and taking it out. Car doesn't even lock, basically doesn't respond to any command from key. I thanged the batteries in the fob and tried other okey but issue persisted.
Now for last couple of weeks, now it has stopped starting at times. but after few minutes able to start. Today it didn't start at all. Everything else is working,
All thiese issues started after replacing the battery (genuine MB battery).

I wonder if the car not starting has to do with the starter going bad?
The batteries in the Key fob only control the doors locking/unlocking. Even if those batteries are dead the car should turn on and start. Unless there are other issues.
Todays it displayed presafe function limited warning while it was on.
After I switched off the engine, it didn't start for 2 hours but when attempted afterwards, switched on but after 500 meters gave the same warning again so decided to come back home and parked it. Just checked again, not starting again.
I took it to a mechanic few days ago and he said that the issue was in ignition assembly and would need to be replaced.
