Water under floor carpet drivers side
My 2008 C300 has water under the drivers side carpet. I took the drivers side mat out and lifted the floor mat, there is this tank attached to the mat at the bottom of the car which is soaked.
I vacuumed out the pool of water but the tank attached to the mat is covered in foam which won't dry, still pooling water on the floor. The carpet and mat are not soaked they are damp however, there are wires that run under there. I'm worried, where is the water coming from, any advice please?

On many cars this issue is clogged sunroof drain ... If you open sunroof you should be able to see a small hole on the left and right front (there maybe two at the back as well). If you poor some water from a bottle around the hole - does it drain away ? If not, drain is clogged with debris ..I used can of compressed air to clear mine - put straw from can down the hole and seal around hole with some wet tissue paper - blow it out a couple of times - test again with water. Repeat if needed ... I would not use a shop air line - too much pressure could disconnect the hose inside the drain ....
