2012 C250 Steering Column Control Module
I have recently posted about a problem with my 2012 C250.
Intermittently I will lose all power to steering wheel. No horn, no volume buttons, no voice button, no phone. This has happened about 4 times in the last year.
I can drive around all day and have several stops and each time when I get back in the car no power to steering wheel. But when the car sits overnight, in the morning all is well again.
Had a B service today at my independent master mercedes mechanic and he said code came up for Steering Column Control Module.
Since my car is still under warranty that means I have to take to the dealer which I consider a total nightmare.
Anyone else dealt with this problem? My mechanic said I'm the first one with that problem he has seen.
Cheers

if its under warranty take it to the dealer to fix the issue(free repair). you know the code, your already informed about it and there shouldn't be any issues of them ripping you off for other repairs.
It is a weird issues and I'm curious to see why this is happening. Maybe someone will be able to dig up information on this if you post the code your mechanic pulled.
