Hi. I am about to purchase a C220 Avantgarde and IT is lacking the AMG sports package. What i am wondering is if its still possible to install quad exhaust without the AMG rear bumper. Thanks
I think you need to change the bumper to make it look good... You can probably do it but it will look funny on the luxury bumper, just sitting below with no diffuser to go around it. I would defiantly upgrade to a sport bumper, even try to confirm fitment of a face lifted one.
Well, i have dual exaust. Its a W204 2008, with amg style rear bumper.
You can have dual or quad exaust, but if you keep that bumper you will have to cut to open space for exaust.
Thats the cheap route.
If you want to get a nicer rear, you can change for an amg rear bumper (i have change mine from pre-facelift to facelift withou any problem; just dont forget to buy two plastic holds that support the facelift bumper).
And if you change the bumper, you will have to buy the diffuser.
