hi, please help. took my MB to dealership for oil leak. they did not even clean the engine but told me that oil cooler and gasket needed to be changed, tappet cover gasket and vacuum pump gasket needed to be changed. took it to an ex Mercedes mechanic and he checked no oil and water mixing so he rubbished what the dealer said. I trust he will be honest with me in regard to the repairs but he wants to wash the engine first...... can this engine be washed?

yes spray degreaser and wash it off
