SprintBooster??
Hey guys,
I was just looking around at some potential mods and came across the SprintBooster (https://www.sprintboosterusa.com/c-133-at.aspx). It claims to increase throttle response by adjusting the voltage coming from the throttle position sensor. If you look at some Youtube videos, their little demo device makes it look pretty interesting.
But I've never heard of this before.... Anyone have any experience with the Sprintbooster? Does it really make a difference? For $300, it seems like saving up a bit more and getting an ECU tune would be more useful.
Thanks,
Steven

Also found this--https://www.racechip-usa.com/products/response-control/
Looks nicer than the SprintBooster. Guess this technology is more common than I thought.

I don't think these increase performance, they just change the pedal position vs voltage out curve. WOT with vs WOT w/o remains unchanged I believe. But, if you want one, a member was selling one a couple of weeks ago... Don't think its gone yet.

The SprintBooster just adjusts the voltage of your pedal that's it. It's the same effect of you putting your foot down constantly.

Yeah I talked to Rod about it, but I've got the M276 engine, so it wouldn't work for me I think. But after reading into it a bit more, I'm definitely going to save up for an Eurocharged or OETuning tune. Was more just curious to see if anyone here had any experience with the device.

Thanks for the link. Probably going to pass for now, though I'll PM that guy and if he still hasn't sold it he might go for less. I'd have to check though because he's got an M272 engine, while I've got an M276.

I'm not sure the Pedal position sensors are different though. Should work, I would contact manufacturer or do a quick google search of the PN.
