Methanol Injection

Any W204 CGI or C204 CGI coupes currently on Methanol Injection care to share some pictures of your setup and also nozzle location?

I'm keen to set mine up with an AEM Meth Injection but would like to find out the best ideal nozzle location for C204

Also, what nozzle size are you guys using as well?

Anything to take note of?

How are the performance gains like?

Any inputs would be greatly appreciated

In regards to Methanol Injection, I don't thing you should spend the time and money to do that on a 180 CGI. The amount of performance increase you can expect is little to none.

If you are going to be changing the turbo, blade, etc, and if you are going to be pushing the PSI on stock internals, then you can look into Meth, but at the expense of your engine internals.

For daily "spirited" driving, it's not going to be worth it.

Reason for installing it is because I have a AEM set dekitted from my previous ride lying around

Was thinking of getting it installed before I go for a flash tune..

Not planning to change any major stuffs like turbo or internals etc..

If you got it lying around and you are confident you won't f*@k anything up, why not! Sounds fun! Make sure to make a DIY if you have time!

I am not very confident it wouldn't F*@k anything up that is why I was hoping someone would share their inputs with me especially those that got it installed before haha..

I don't come across much Mercedes having Methanol Injection installed, but it's really common for BMWs / Audi / VW etc..

Nevertheless, I would sure make a DIY if time permits..

Still hoping for more thoughts and inputs before I get it kick started..

There is a general guideline you can follow for installing meth, it's been done on a E500 Twin turbo and a w203 c200 komp, I don't know the install details but if you have the kit I'm thinking of then it's based off the rpm readings so it should be ok.

Also, not sure who told you but if you're running the Siemens continental ecu, you can't get flashed. No one decrypted that ecu, only the Bosch units are getting flashed.

I've done meth on my previous FI JDM rides before so I'm pretty familiar with what to do... I just thought if there's any precaution measures needed for Mercedes..

Anyways, it should be spraying based on boost pressure and not RPM

Not too sure what my ECU brand make is.. Perhaps I should check it out ..
