Long time W204 Reader - just joined

Hello All,

After coming here for the past 2 years infrequently finally decided to join a few days ago.
I own a 2013 C300 4Matic that I bough CPO back on June 2014 with 10K miles.
Vehicle is Palladium Silver with P1 and Multimedia Packages. Have not done much to it in terms of modifications, except the following:
Clear LED side markers
Painted calipers Silver - G2 paint
Benz valve stem caps
Benz LED door projector logo
Next will probably be Depo Headlights as the halogen lights suck!
I have put almost 40k miles in just over 2 years and just about to hit 50K. Vehicle is currently in the shop getting the chain tensioner and valve check job done since that engine ticking sound was getting annoying and figured I might as well take advantage of the warranty.
Within the next week or 2, I will perform DIY oil change on it for the first time since I had dealer maintenance included as part of the deal when I bought it.
I look forward to sharing my Benz journey especially since there is not much history on the forum of W204s with the M276 engine. Reliability has been great as I have not had any issues with the vehicle so far besides the engine rattling noise and steering wheel trim peeling.

How long does chain tensioner and valve check job usually take, anyone know? Car has been in the dealer since last Tuesday 8/16. Called the service advisor but has not returned my calls since Monday.

Definitely not more than a week! Your labour bill would be 5 digits!

Chances are they either needed a part of don't give your business the credit it deserves. If they don't answer, go in, and demand to see your vehicle.
