Remote Start Options for 2015 C300W4
I've waded through a ton of old forum posts, but haven't found a direct answer to my question:
Is there a remote start solution for a 2015C300W4?
The Mid-City Engineering guys have been telling me for a year that a solution was "coming" and implying it was right around the corner, but there's no evidence that this is the case.
This is a dealbreaker situation for my wife, the primary driver, and we wouldn't have bought the car if she knew an aftermarket remote start was impossible, so any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Have you done a brief internet search? Here are a couple companies that look like they have a product that would work:
http://smartkeystarter.com/
http://www.mercedesremotestart.com/
Just curious, If not having it is a deal breaker why would you buy the car first and then look into remote starters? Why wouldn't you do it the other way around?

It was down to a C300 or a Lexus (which did have remote start). We were told by both salespeople and independent mechanics that there would be an aftermarket solution available to us for the MB, which we both preferred. It too several months for the Smartkey folks to work out the 2014 starter, so it wasn't implausible that this would be the case for the '15. Unfortunately, it hasn't turned out to be so.
I've spent more than a little time looking into this, and this post is sort of a Hail Mary-type move in the hope that I've overlooked something.

I wish I could help you out more but remote start was never something I was terribly fond of.
I'm sure a regular remote starter would work if you left a key in the car and had keyless go but then not only can you not lock your doors, but you also have to leave a key for anybody that wants to take your car for a spin!
