James Berger of MB manhattan just told me he will not fix the car based on error codes but it must be fixed based on his recommendation. He said pay 3100 or tow it. I don't mind paying. What should I do? Should I hire a lawyer?

Just google your codes and add c300 and they will come up, theres a lot to search.

Uh, also, this guy seems full of crap if I'm understanding it correctly. Codes are there to tell you what's wrong, he's not there to assume what is wrong.

I'd look for somewhere else to get it fixed (if I read this right)

He also told me Thomas Shanley the GM approved for 3100 or tow it. I don't won't to pay for what not broken. Do I have too?

I don't think so. I would hold on a bit before doing anything, it seems overpriced and they seem rather aggressive.
