2010 C300 Gear Shift Light Replacement
Hey, the bulbs that light up the P, D, N, R on the center console of my 2010 C300 have died. First, the lighting for one of the letters went out, then all of them.
Does anyone know where I can buy replacement lighting? And are there any guides for DIY replacement? I am hoping this is something a relative layman could fix instead of paying $300+ at the dealer.

Hello cheeseburger, I wish i could help more here. I am not sure but I believe these lights are not easily replaceable... Like I said, I am not sure... maybe azn_optics could help?

I am experiencing a similar issue on my 08, except the backlight for PRND(C/S) died all at once, rather than letter by letter. In the complete fuse list, the closest thing I can find is 'Switch illumination", which lists fuses 2,3,12,17,39, and 41. I am experiencing no other electrical related issues, which leads me to believe it is not caused by a blown fuse (bummer). I've found very little information regarding this issue online, hopefully someone here knows how to fix this.
