GPS tomtom installation
hello everybody and thanks for your support.
I have one w204 facelift MY2013. I want to install one tom-tom GPS. (my care doesn't come with command, just audio 20 without GPS, and in my country there's no mbenz original maps to install command with factory gps).
my idea is to mount the tom-tom gps in the dashboard, in front of the parktronic sensors. I'm attaching one picture with the idea, just to avoid misunderstood.
questions:
1-can I remove easily the grill on top of the dashboard to make the installation?
2-can I find below the parktronic lights 12V voltage and ground to power the tom-tom unit?
3-any special care to consider if i decide to start with the process?
I don't want to disassemble all the car, just I'm looking to fancy and simple permanent installation, and trying to hide the power gps cable behind the gps unit, to get a beautiful look, as the car has...
any suggestions, pictures, instructions will be very useful, I'm very concern about it. thanks all in advance,
