the black knob on top of the rear passenger door (inside top of door , bottom of window) is missing on my c300 2008 ... There was just a thin shaft that I presume the cover sits on, exposed . I looked on a parts site by could not find a diagram and part number for that part ... Anyone have a site they can point me to that shows that part ?

Can you post a picture? The quickest way I've found to find parts is call the dealer, the people in parts become pros at knowing exactly what you're talking about in a second! In the dealer business I've done this many many times.
