C300 manual gear box - shift knob replacement size?
I have a 2008 C300 Sport 6-speed, and like many others have posted here, my shift knob is peeling, especially around the areas where my fingers wrap around the knob. I'm looking for a replacement shift knob.
I'm looking to buy a universal shift knob (probably from eBay), but I can't figure out what size I should buy. I've searched high and low on google and in this forum (read through at least 20 shift knob threads here), but nobody mentions the size!
eBay vendors usually provide adapters in various sizes, e.g.

Those are in mm: 8mm, 10mm, etc.
Which size should I get?
Again, this is the a manual shift knob. '08 C300 W204.
