Conti DWS06

Last year at this time I purchased four Continental DWS06 tires for my C300 4matic I recently noticed that the front were down to the wear bars. I only have 22K miles on the tires. I checked the Continental site and the tires come with a mileage warranty. They say I should get 50K out of the tires. In past years I used a local tire store that always seemed good. But every time I had a warranty issue they would sell me a new tire and say they would contact the company rep and see if they would do an adjustment. It never happened. Last year I used Sears so I took my receipt over and the gentlemen looked up the ticket and had the mileage when I purchased the tires and went out and measured the tires for wear. Continental gave me a credit of $96 per tire on the spot and Sears ordered the tires and they will be put on this Friday.

If you are looking for tires check out Sears and check on line their price is less than in the store but the store will match the price.

Interesting. I had the original DWS tires on the rear (still have them on the front), and they lasted about 30K, which I thought was really good. Now, I have the DWS 06 on the rear. Only about 3K miles into them, but good to know they have a warranty. However, I bought them from Tire Rack, so I don't think I have a record of the mileage when they were first put on.

Thanks for the heads up.

One thing to keep in mind is that if you have a staggered set up ( I believe all sport models do) the warranty gets cut in half as you cannot rotate the tires front to rear.

Thanks. I saw that as well, so I'm pretty happy with how long my DWS lasted. I recommend the DWS/DWS 06 to everybody looking for an all-season tire.

Warranty is cut in half for the rear tires only.
I have the DWS06 also, on my second set early due to running over stuff and destroying two of them. Very happy with them though.

They are great tires. Run them on my wife's C300, my 911 and will replace the stock ones on my car with them once they need replacement

I'll be paying nothing lol. I'll just find a nail to drive over and take it to the dealer for free replacement under wheel and tire coverage. I'm gunna make my money back on it lol 😏. But 249 sounds about what they cost here.

If it's relevant or helpful at all:

I paid around $600 for a set of 4 of the regular DWS, not DWS06. This was a promotional price to clear out DWS in favor of the newer DWS06.

I'm quite happy with the performance considering they are all seasons. I will be getting summer tires next time though.
