Map Navigation update 2011 C300
Hi,
I received an email and mailed letter that my 2011 C300 is due for a map update. $249 + FS.
Honestly, I've not used the map feature. I use my phone + Google + Apple maps via BT. I use the navi feature as a "desktop / place holder" for a point of reference.
I tried the map / navigation voice feature today. Pretty cool. Responded well to my voice command even with music streaming in the background.
Cool enough for $249??
Besides POIs and avoiding "network availability / coverage" interruption that can happen with smartphones, what are the benefits of a Navigation System Map update?
