What is Factory Fill Power Steering Fluid w204 c300 2010
Looking to find out what the factory fill is on a 2010 C300 Production date 10/2009.
I have 97k miles on it and after looking thru the service history,(all done at MB Dealership prior to 67k rest was myself), I don't see anything stating PSF was flushed and changed.
I ask because, if MB 236.3 PSF Gear Oil is factory filled, I obviously don't want to mix with the newer/better 345 Hydraulic Oil.
I did have to add some (30ml) as the reservoir was low. I added Febi Gear Oil MB 236.3 Dexron II but want to flush this ASAP if I shouldn't have.
Attached is a picture of what I sucked out today and added more gear oil to get some cleaner stuff in there.
One thing I did notice in the picture attached is a possibility of oil separation? Is the bottom more brown or honey'd and the newer psf gear oil on top?

I was using Pentosin CHF 11 S Hydraulic Fluid following the 345.0 specification.
I wonder if you can help me out. I was trying to suck the PSF out as much as I can, the first I was using the turkey buster as you did, then I reach the horizontal baffle just below the filling cap so that I can't get more than like 5ml out.
Any comments on getting as much as possible?

Buy this pump off amazon. I use it for oil changes and it sucked out my PS fluid when I had to remove my power steering reservoir.

I had to really jam the tube in there, move it around to find low spots ect but I got quite a bit out.
It works great and if it ever blows up, the pump is cheap enough to buy another.

Thank you so much for the tip! Yeah, I was a bit worried about how to get more fluid out since the horizontal baffle is blocking the way.
