Will non-oem ones work?

I already bought rainx latitudes, 24in, but seems to me like people say they wont work, only OEM. Idk tho.

So whats the deal? :s

Are the Rain X ones you bought working on your car?

 

BTW....whether or not wipers work is dependent on the connectors, not the brand. FWIW, there hasn't been a wiper that I've purchased that DOESN'T work on the W204, and I've never bought OEM.

My opinion those are terrible wipers .... Have had nothing but issues on my car and my wife's GL450 .... Bought Bosch wipers in there place

 

They're equivalent standing according to ratings. I decided to go with these as have used them on other cars before and have been great.

 

I bought Bosch aero twin & they are as good as the original.

 

FWIW, on my 2014 there are lots of wipers that connect/fit correctly.. however, there are no so far that actually work. They judder, squeal, and chatter. It is a plague on most recent Benz cars. All my loaners (2016 W205s and 2016 W212s) have done it as well, including one W205 with 100 miles on the odo.

 

The wiper blades are so easy to change on these cars I thought it was some kind of a joke. Literally took about 30 seconds to do both.


I just went with Bosch like what came stock.


I normally don't drive my C230 on rainy days. I drive my winter beater on rainy days.
