Retrofitting the Auxiliary Heater Pump on US W204?
Has anyone retrofited the aux heater pump, that got deleted on some US model w204?
The reason I'm asking is the wife drives the car now and in sits in traffic for quite a bit. With the temps in the single digits, she's complaining she's constantly cold and today I went for a drive. The car is really blowing cold to barely warm on idle. Seems from discussions I've found on here that adding the aux pump might help with that. Now, I don't care about the rest feature, and the hardware installation part seems pretty straight forward, more concerned about the programming that will need to be done. I have an indy that will code things for me, but I need to be pretty specific with the instructions.
So, if anyone has gone through the process, please chime in. And yes I did search, but there's nothing specific about the procedure, just bits and pieces about heat, leaks, etc.
Here's US version without the pump:
And the world version with the pump:

Were any codes thrown indicating it needed to be replaced? I ask because my car seems to take longer than normal to warm up now, but I have no codes at all for thermostat
