Another Kebob question

Hello folks. I have another key fob question. I've searched for days for a solution but can't seem to find a solid answer.

Here is the deal. My primary key fob will not LOCK/UNLOCK/START my car. The PANIC does work, though. Batteries are new. Spare key fob works fine (Thank goodness). Key fob will emit a red light when buttons are pressed. I do not have keyless go. I need to put the key in. I will say that i installed a smartkeystarter with drone a day or two prior. But as i mentioned, the spare key works just fine.

2009 C350 with 47k miles.

I also tried searching for "resync". Either i'm following the wrong instructions of many, maybe I'm looking at the wrong instruction but doing it wrong, or maybe it's not a resync issue.

Anyone have any idea what is wrong? I'm hoping it's something simple, before i go and dish out $300+ on a new key fob.

Any help is appreciated.

haha! I was just surfing a bunch of sites and "resync" kept coming up.

I called numerous dealers today to price out a new key fob. Because one remote work while the other didn't, they all believe its a bad remote as well.

I'm ordring one tomorrow. $250
