2009 Mercedes c300 4matic sport LED Headlights

1. Has anyone tried the LED headlight conversion kits?

2. Do I need to buy a new cover for the back of the headlight unit where I the run the wires through?

3. Has anyone gotten any error codes?

4. Any suggestions on kits?

LED's are not that great. Don't get sucked into the hype. A projector and an HID kit will always outshine LED's. The only reason Acura's cars have such bright LED headlights are because they utilize 6-12 small projectors and LED bulbs between both headlights.

Headlight housing not designed specifically to capture LED surface mounted light spread will result in reduced throw distance and uneven lighting. You're better off going with an HID conversion. We carry top end Morimoto HID conversion kits if interested.

Don't go LED for the projectors/low beams, go HID. You'll be far happier with the result. +1 for AZNs morimoto kits

That's what I said in layman's terms lol. +1 for the Morimoto. I installed Morimoto Mini H1 5.0's (2 years ago) in my RSX with the 5500k 35w kit. Easy to install, looked great, and with the washer mod the cutoff was so nice and blue.
