Turbo went out...
Hello everyone... it's Wilsun from Los Angeles, California. Just joined s minute ago. Anyways, I floored my '12 C250 today... and as I was passing a slow car, my merc tugged back, acted like it stalled, lost power, and proceeded with only the 4-cylinder running slow. Engine light turned on and no acceleration power at all. This happened before especially when I switch to sport mode. Got any ideas before I take it to the dealership??? Thank you in advance...

Do you have any mods? If not then check your hose connections to the boost controller located on the very front of your engine under the cover. Should have 3 hoses going into it. I experienced overboost when one of these hoses were damaged and it caused my car to go into limp mode.

Hey Knight. Thanks for the reply. No, I didn't have any mods done. Everything is stock (with the exception of aftermarket wheels and trunk spoiler). Cool, I'll check them hoses when I get home. How did you get the hoses repaired? Or replaced?
The thing is, the engine light turns off on its own and turbo goes back online after a few days... but I'm hesitant on flooring it again. Do I ease up on the pedal for this particular car?
Thank you.

No reason you should have to ease up on your car after it's warmed up. Check the hoses. If that's not it take it in to the dealer.

Had mine replaced. How many miles on your car? It's unlikely the turbo is malfunctioning. Can you check for codes through the obd port? That might give an idea what the problem is.
