it depends on what you wanna get, if you want original firmware from 350 to 300 then its possible and doesnt affect engine resource, and your option with 330 hp, its tuned 350 ecu and cant be called original firmware, its just a usual chip tuning firmware made by some company

Ladies & Gents,
I recently bought a 2013 C300 matic which I had originally leased. Just discovered that the motor on this car is exactly the Same V6 3.5 litre direct ingestion motor that is on the C 350. MB just detuned to form a distinction for sales purposes. Please see article below

I had got in touch with me MB Mechanic here in Vienna VA and asked him if he can tune it back to the original power and torque (as in the C 350) he referred me to http://www.renntechmercedes.com/ down in Florida apparently these guys are kings in tuning MB engines. I called to see if this could be done and a Gentlemen who is the actual tech stated that most he could do is a ECU tune which will give me an additional 12 to 15 HP and a little bit of TQ, however he says the performance is as good as the C350. It costs about $900 to do a ECU tune. Can anyone shed any light on this please.
