Headlight switch replacement - difficulty level.

So I have the dreaded "worn out" headlight switch issue that causes my passenger parking lights to occasionally stay on and my automatic headlights to act wonky during the day (staying on in full sunlight, turning on and off rapidly, etc.). It happens rarely but I have had enough of the neighbors and colleagues telling me my lights are on then having to explain to them it's "normal". Not sure what people on the road think when my headlights are turning on and off every 3 seconds until I switch the auto mode off.

"The Best or Nothing" apparently means headlight switches "wear out" .....who knew?

Anywhoo - tutorial online makes it look easy. But in reality how hard is it to squeeze your hands into the dash to release the 3 carrier clips? Have a new OEM headlight switch on the way, just want to make sure I have lighter fluid and a match ready should it not be as easy as it looks.

Thanks!

That's the one. I'm only intimidated by the squeezing my hand in to release the 3 clips.....just picturing my hand mauled by sharp plastic flashing edges.
