MG Build List: What Should I Do First?
Hello all,
I currently have 2011 Steel Gray C300 Sport 3.0L, and have driven around relatively stock for 2 months already. Naturally I am ready to start actually modding it. Currently what is done to the car is an x-pipe and a set of HIDs, that's it. What I want to do is cosmetic and performance only. (As if there is anything left to do )
For performance I'd like to add:
1. An ECU tune, unsure which is the best but would like to remove throttle lag, speed limiter, better mpg, and of course more hp and tq. (I know there is one for the 3.5L but what about some love for the smaller little brother?)
2. Coils or H&R SS Springs (Unsure which would be best for me, as the car probably won't ever see a track)
3. Sways
4. Custom Air filter (Basically one I can clamp together myself)
5. Exhaust (This is one of the last ones because I like the sound of what I have now and there isn't that much power coming from the exhaust to begin with so can't justify getting first when it's probably the most if not second most expensive)
6. Headers
7. Cam?
8. Crank?
The last two, I have read (maybe) that there are pieces that can be added for performance but maybe I was dreaming let me know?
For Cosmetic Uprgrades:
1. Dual CF Round Tip Diffuser/Tips
2. Trunk and Roof Spoilers
3. Depo 2012+ Tail Lights
4. Front lip CF
5. Debadge and Blackout (certain chrome parts)
6. Tint
7. As cheesy as it sounds I'd like to have yellow brake calipers
8. VMR V713 or V721 19x8.5, 19x9.5 (Sticky tires are a given)
9. Seat belt color change (yellow)
10. C63 Alacantra/CF Steering Wheel
11. Would like to see if I can remove the door handle (inside) and replace it with straps like a GT3/4 car
12. CF interior trim
13. LED interior lighting
14. Maybe switch from HID to LED exterior lighting
15. Speaker upgrade
16. CF rear canards
17. CF side skirt extensions
Obviously there are more cosmetic possibilities than performance with this car, and if there is more please let me know. If anyone knows of or has used pieces that they are wanting to get rid of that is on this list I'm open to taking them off your hands. Also if anyone has preferences as to where to get certain pieces or what place has the best service, I would love to hear those suggestions. Certainly am excited to start this build, and will be making a YouTube channel as I add parts and mods myself.
Let me hear your suggestions!!!!

Those are some awesome ideas bro. I was looking for ideas myself and mostly everything you listed is perfect for me. I really do hope you make a YouTube channel so whenever I get the parts you've already installed I could follow your videos.

I ended up getting almost every carbon fiber part they make for our cars, but if I could do it again I would start with nice wheels and a drop first and foremost! Springs vs. Coils is a popular question you can check out this thread to see how much of a drop springs offer:
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...-sport-ss.html
I'm on H&R SS and love them, they offer a decent drop and are quite comfortable to ride on. They can only go so low, so often times people upgrade to coilovers for the adjustability which is what I'm going to do very soon, have the coils just waiting to put them on.
Other than that, sounds like you got a plan...can't wait to see what you decide on. Happy modding!

Shoot I just saw you live in San Antonio so do I lol. That's pretty cool. Hopefully once you install a few things I'll be able to check them out in person before I pull the trigger on getting them. Did you do the HID conversion yourself?

We can help you out with any LED/HID upgrades as well. We've fully familiar with your w204 as we have a w204 development vehicle in house.
