Have you tried via Bluetooth (pair with the car)?

At some cars, contacts should transfer automatically when the phone connects. Depends on the car model.

That is what I got. I'll try to read through that! Thank you! Seems fairly easy with my phone, just have to accept vcards and then transfer. We shall see!

On my 2011 I could not transfer contacts via bluetooth.
I put my vCard contacts on an SD card housed within the CF card reader and transferred my contacts that way.
